    There was a heavy sigh on the other end of the line and Bradley kept quiet to hear what his uncle would say. “Maverick was declared MIA this morning,”

    Mach 10 can take you pretty far from your starting point, so when Maverick wrecks the Darkstar plane, no one knows where he is and is quickly declared MIA. Cue Bradley realizing that his love for Maverick massively out weighs his anger so he heads to the one place he thought he no longer had. Bradley goes home.
