He was reviewing the League reports, with his children hovering in the cave, when the motion sensor on the Batcave ceiling activated.
There was no time to react. A small figure, wrapped in light, fell directly on top of him.
A golden chain flashed between her wrists and his.
And just as he was about to speak, another flash appeared.
"You again!" the second girl yelled.
And then they both launched themselves at each other.
Bruce sighed.
It was official: the night had just gotten worse.
Or, in other words, how Marinette and Lila discovered they were sisters, daughters of Batman, and that fate was a bitch.

Lila had convinced Tom and Sabine that Marinette was no good. So they sent her to live with her biological father in Gotham, Bruce Wayne.
He doesn't even bother to resesarch and gives her a buncha strict rules to follow, and basically makes Marinette a prisoner in a way. Of course, nobody knows she's innocent.
So imagine their surprise one day when they overhear a conversation between her and her friend?
Perhaps they should have actually looked to see if Marinette was such a bully as others said she was.
