“Phillip…” Chara began, her voice hesitant with awe. “What is this?”
“It’s our new home!” he announced, feeling a grin split onto his face as they stopped in the middle of the palace, staring up at the spacious ceiling. “I’ve been waiting so long to show this to you. There’s everything we’ve ever wanted. An art studio for you… a ballroom with an orchestra… even a forest of our very own outside!”
“So much…” her voice was quiet. “How… how did you get this?”
He smiled, stepping up behind her to place his hands on her shoulders. “The Lord provides for his servants, my dear. Now, come. I have so much to show you!”
He turned, taking her hand to lead her to the first set of rooms, but stopped when he was met with resistance.
“Chara?” he prompted, tugging on her arm once more. “Is something–”
“-How…” she interrupted, voice low. “...did you get this?”

So, he asks her to be his rival. The thing is... does she really want that?
Or: Some short snippets of Gloria and Hop's childhood together and covering the intro of the game up until the Opening Ceremony. Mostly fluff, bit of angst + character drama but everyone stays friends.

Takes place right after Ch 2 and right before the flashback sequence in Ch 43 of "Well, Time Travel is Certainly Real" by ladybugclue. I 100% fully recommend reading the story, or at least the first two chapters of that fic to get a sense of what's going on.
