Summary
Childe’s exit from the Primordial Sea after being hurled through the dimensional rift brings him on a small detour, and he comes face to face with someone who looks…a lot like Master Skirk.
(In which Jingliu and Skirk look SO ALIKE that I impulsively wrote a fic on that single premise.)Aka Childe interacts with the Astral Express, the Xianzhou Luofu cast, and check-ins on Teyvat. He participates in a few companion quests ranging from Kafka’s to Jingliu’s. Watch him comprehend the power scaling in the Star Rail verse, getting himself into trouble, figure out how to return to Teyvat, and other shenanigans (if you ever wondered what would happen if Blade met Childe, this is the fic for you). Oh and he impulsively ate the Lightless eye of the Maelstrom? (Wait- Didn't that mean he just ate the Narwhal?)

Zhongli nods, understanding completely.
The harbinger was never very good at picking up the subtlety of deception and subterfuge (the ex-archon is well aware of this weakness), so challenging a fox spirit was probably the worst choice of foe for a direct, battle-hungry warrior like Tartaglia.
Hammer met nail, and now a bloodthirsty man is curled up like a pet in the lap of the retired god.
