”You’d call everything off right now, just for this?”
Just for this, he says. As though it’s trivial. As though it isn’t everything that Vox has dreamt of every night for the past several decades. As though the rejection doesn’t sting just as sharply every time he wakes up and reaches to the other side of a cold bed, hands searching for a lover that will never be there, and hears callous laughter echoing in the back of his skull.
Vox sucks in a shaky breath, closing his eyes. He tilts his face downward, unable to look at Alastor when he admits it. He almost can’t bring himself to, sure that Alastor is already certain of the answer.
”Yes,” he whispers.
”You can’t be serious,” Alastor says quietly.

Summary
When Alastor died, all he ever wanted was to be free and be entertained. Death was forever, and forever was long and boring. And that boredom had become one thing he truly feared now.
But, as the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for.
Little did he know that one day a child with the smile of pure sunshine was going to be at his door step and somehow drag him into a deeper world of Hell's politics. Not just the battles of Overlords of Pentagram City, but the games played behind the curtains of Hell's seven rings.

Summary
Vox shouldn't have listened to his intrusive thoughst. One bullet and he's lost his partner. Figuring out his life with Valentino dead, covering up the fact he was behind it, and also whatever the fuck Alastor is up to turns out to be very complicated.
Alternatively, this is a fic about radiostatic being very evil together.

An introspective look at Vox and Alastor's relationship spanning the first two seasons of Hazbin Hotel and culminating in a single (marathon) night of something more before the final battle. While Vox starts out down for the ride he doesn't realize what Alastor is really aiming for.
Alastor wants to give him everything that could have been. Until it breaks him. Al's manipulations get him into Vox's bed.. but what will it do to him over the course of the night?
