“All you ever do is hang out with Steve Harrington,” Heidi hisses. She’s not touching her own tray of food, and as nausea rolls through her, Robin wishes she hadn’t either. “He picks you up from school like every day, and Vickie told us she saw you two fooling around together when she went to rent a movie.”

“That’s not fair, we both have to go to work.”

Or: Robin struggles to balance her old friendships with her newfound bond with Steve Harrington.

“Is it all true? Did you really tell Midoriya to kill himself?”

And there it was. Everyone asks shitty questions, but never the right ones.

Bakugou looked him in the eye. He’d answer the shitty ass question. It didn’t matter; everyone had already made their decisions about it.

    “I did.”

“Dude,” Kirishima intoned, sounding disappointed and horrified. And then his face turned into disgust. “That’s… You’re messed up bro.”

That’s when Bakugou knew he had actually lost a friend.

    Or-
Class 1-A finds out that Bakugou had bullied Midoriya. They don't know the full story but that doesn't matter to them. What matters to them was that they now think their classmate is a villain. And they were going to do everything in their power to treat him like one too.

    Summary

When he makes it to the small clearing, quick footsteps come up behind him, and before he can turn around, someone tries to shove him. Astonishingly, his center of gravity is on his side and he plants his feet in time, holding his ground. Spinning around, he puts his fists up and freezes when he sees himself panting and angry with fists clenched to his sides.

“Woah, trippy,” Eddie remarks. Tommy dressed him poorly today—the absence of his battle vest is going to draw a lot of attention from his comrades.

“What the fuck did you do to me, freak?!”

“Tommy?” Eddie doublechecks, hopeful that their game of musical bodies is only between the two of them and not some other third party.

“Yes! Did you fucking curse me? What the shit is this?!”

    -----

Eddie Munson and Tommy Hagan don't like each other and they don't have anything in common - or at least, that's what they think until one morning, they each wake up in the other's body.

    Summary

“How many catowls do you have to see to think it’s strange? Before you’d notice something was wrong?”

It had taken Zuko all of two seconds to come up with his answer, a scowl on his face and fists clenched at his sides.

“One. Catowls aren’t native to the Fire Nation: only the Earth Kingdom.”

In the moment, Zuko was so sure and so strong-willed that it only made sense. But he was wrong.

The answer was three catowls. The first wouldn’t seem real. After all, he’d never seen it before, so it was probably a fluke. The second would be real, sure, but he’d assume that would be the first catowl, and would think that maybe it was migrating. The third catowl would finally tip him over the edge. Because catowls didn’t travel in threes.

There was only one eclipse. Somehow, he had lived three others in the last few days.

The question was, Why?  What did the spirits want him to do?
