Summary
“Evan, what the heck!”
Buck snorted at his boyfriend's expression, slapping a hand to his mouth, a bit of his own surprise likely mirrored in his own face.
“I'm so sorry!” He set down the half rinsed plate, quickly drying his hands before he pulled at the sleeve of Tommy's t-shirt. “It's not sore, is it?”
Tommy blinked, and shook his head. “No, it's fine. I mean, we both know I can take a much harder bite than that, but, ah, where did that come from?”
“I don't know…” Buck shrugged sheepishly. “I was just here listening to you and I got hit by this wave of emotion because you're a weirdo about your coffee but you're my weirdo and I'm, like, ridiculously in love with you. It just overwhelmed me for a moment and then the next thing I know I'm, uh, chomping down on you.”
He watched as Tommy's brow furrowed and then he was rinsing his own hands and patting them dry on his jeans before reaching out and tugging Buck closer.
A smirk slowly spreads across Tommy's face, his eyes crinkling and glowing with a sudden mischief.
“I'm not a professional but if I was, I'd diagnose you, Mr Buckley, with a little case of affection aggression.”

Summary
Her cruiser reached the red light at the end of the street. Left would carry her back into the city, back into her shift. Right would carry her down into the suburbs, down a little cul-de-sac road where a small, one story white house with a high back porch lay.
She turns right.
“Athena?” Tommy’s holding a dishtowel in his hands, the soap bubbles still clinging to the furred skin of his arms. The porch light picked up the glinting silver of his ring. Athena waited, letting each heartbeat carry her still in this land of the living, even though a large part of her went away last April. Tommy’s face twisted, his jaw tightening as understanding and premature grief flooded his eyes. “...when?”
When Buck is badly injured in the line of duty, Athena gets to know Tommy and finds that they have a lot in common.

"At that, everyone filed out, leaving Shane and Tommy alone in the kitchen. “So, even though Buck called it off, everyone still thinks I’m a homewrecker? I’m fucked. Maybe I’ll move to Seattle. I hear anything goes up there.”
Shane draws him into one of his tight hugs, the warmth and pressure familiar. “You’ve still got me,” he murmurs into Tommy’s neck. “And hey, maybe if you actually get them together, everyone will forgive you."
In which Tommy Kinard is the only person in LA who doesn't know that Buck and Eddie are married, and is suffering the consequences. But maybe Buck and Eddie aren't the only idiots in LA.
