In the middle of the courtyard, crushing the green grass under its weight, was a stone tomb, covered in chains. Taking Claudia by the arm, Armand pulled her back, ignoring the indigent glare she gave him, before closing the short distance between himself and the coffin. He circled the stone, tracing his hand over the old, rough surface as his eyes followed the rusted chains. He glanced down at the lock where a folded paper was tucked beneath the oil-stained metal. He plucked the paper and unfolded it, scanning over the words before reading them aloud to the others.
“We have made a grave mistake,” Armand said. “We are not able to care for this fledgling. He will ruin us all,” Armand tore the note in half and tossed it over his shoulder.

Summary
The first story in this series, “Trade the Game You Know for Shelter,” can be read as a stand-alone. All of the pieces thereafter continue from the moment that first story leaves off and serve a broader plot that I’m in the process of building. Currently, the timeline covered across the existing stories is 4 September 1973 - 11 January 1974, but I have plans to take this series at least as far forward as 1980 in its internal timeline.

Just before the battle with Thanos, Dr Strange pulls together enough power to send one person to a different dimension. A chance for that person to be safe from the destruction that Thanos was about to wrought on Earth. The group about to fight agreed that Peter Parker, for sheer virtual of being the only person not an adult there, would get the dubious honor.
Which is how Peter finds himself waking up in Gotham City, a place even crueler and darker than New York City. Peter has to try to find a way to fit into this new universe at just sixteen years old.
"I am still just your butler, and I cannot simply tell you that you will be adopting a new son. But I truly am not getting younger. You have seven children now, even if you haven’t adopted all of them legally. There is much more work than when it was just you and I. Tim wakes up inexplicably in his two-year-old body. Which: odd. But just think, how many people would kill to have an opportunity to redo their life! And Tim has so much he wants to change, so much he wants. He wants to feel important to Bruce. He wants to be Dick's favorite. He wants Jason (his childhood hero) to think he's cool. He wants Damian to need him. And really, is it manipulation if his family benefits from it?
