But Giyuu couldn’t help but throw stones into it. His stones never skipped, simply sinking it from the throw. They would plop, then fall into the murky water below. It was boring to most, but Giyuu found some enjoyment from it. He always felt strange envy towards the stones. In a lot of ways, Giyuu felt heavy like one himself. Just waiting to be thrown into the water. To sink. He would never say it out loud to anyone. Not even to Tanjiro. But Giyuu decided, one day, this would be a perfect place to die.

It has to be some sort of sick joke. Tomioka fucking Giyuu, here of all places on this god-forsaken earth, looking like a nymph, surrounded by steam inside a natural pool. His skin rosy pink from the heat, face framed by the wet ink of his hair falling loose around his shoulders, its tips swaying in mesmerizing waves inside the water. Sanemi is rendered breathless by stunning blue eyes blinking up at him in awe – as if Tomioka himself isn’t sure whether Sanemi is an illusion or not.
Or; Sanemi gives up pretending.

Sanemi’s brain short circuits. Here he is, Tomioka Giyuu right in front of him, probably high off his ass as he practically drapes himself over him.
OR
The Kamaboko squad throws a party for all the hard working demon slayers because of how hard they’ve been training. And Sanemi’s in for a surprise when the water hashira approaches him, drunk and blushing as he asks for a dance.
