Then he’s better off dead, Aventurine finishes in his mind. He clicks his tongue. Poor guy. His only crime was standing out too much. He almost laughs at the irony. The same government that sends out thousands of PSAs a month about the safety of humanity so easily goes behind the backs of its citizens and gives orders like these. The message is clear: no one needs “salvation” if it cannot be controlled.
Well, it’s none of Aventurine’s business. He’s not a saint, and orders are orders. A few plans are already forming in his mind, before Jade adds another sentence.
“Oh, by the way. The target is also confirmed to be an S-class ability user.”

The bad news was, for some reason, the longer Kim Dokja interacted with them, the more murderous Yu Junghyeok became.

Or, the kind and polite Mr. Fool decided to visit a neighbor's dream, Yu Junghyeok is having a relationship crisis, and Kim Dokja is being his usual oblivious blockhead self. Uriel and Madam Magician are very pleased with this development.
