Summary
No serious hockey fan or sports commentator worth their salt would have considered record-breaking Boston superstar Ilya Rozanov to be Shane Hollander’s rival exactly, but sleeping with a man who had a specific offense-related vendetta against him and a wrist shot like a jet engine to back it up was probably ill-advised just the same.
Or, Shane is a goalie. Ilya can’t score.

Summary
Shane wasn’t stupid. He knew that dropping was important. It was simple. He needed to pass his physicals to be allowed to play, and if he didn’t drop he didn’t pass. So he handled it the same way he handled everything. With routines and plans and schedules. He took suppressants on game days, dropped at least once a week during off days. Most of the time, he regressed by himself. It was easier that way, less embarrassing. He had it down to a science. Drop days started with oatmeal. He would teeter for most of it, hover just high enough outside of his headspace to be able to do things like feed himself and shower without supervision, and then before he’d go to sleep he’d sink into it properly. It kept his levels balanced enough for the team doctor to clear him, and kept his dignity in tact as much as he was able too.
Home days were different.
***
Shane is a little. He likes to think he's good at managing it. Some people (RE: literally everyone else) would disagree. Good thing he has parents who love him.

Summary
“How long has this been here?” Shane asked.
Ilya frowned. “What?”
“This,” Shane said, pressing gently.
Ilya flinched, more surprised than hurt. He twisted awkwardly, reaching back, fingers searching. “I don’t feel anything.”
“You don’t feel that?” Shane asked. His voice sounded wrong to his own ears.
Ilya sighed, irritation creeping in. “You’re poking me. Of course I feel that.”
“Ilya.”
“It’s probably nothing,” Ilya said, already pulling away, sitting up. “Muscle knot. I don’t know.”
Or,
Ilya is used to surviving alone. Shane won’t let him. When illness forces their lives to change overnight, they learn what marriage really means. Not in vows, but in the relentless decision to stay.- Language:

Summary
Survivor. Victor. Killer.
Shane Hollander’s life ended the moment he won the Hunger Games. Now, he’s a ghost in a victor’s mansion, a hollow shell haunted by the faces of the dead and a guilt that eats him alive.
Ilya Rozanov was forged in the blood of his Arena, reborn on his dying breath. He clings to life by a thread, masking his own shattered pieces with brutal charm and a self-destructive fire that lights up the Capitol nights.
Forced into a public rivalry, their staged hatred ignites a secret, desperate passion in the shadows. But rebellion is in the air, and in a nation that bleeds its children for sport, love is the most dangerous rebellion of all.

Summary
"Rozy," Brian, the team doctor says, "talk to me, buddy. That puck clipped you pretty good, how’s the pain?"
Ilya blinks. He clenches his jaw against a wave of nausea. He rests his cheek on the ice, and the cold helps a little.
"Bad. Very bad." He swallows. "Is Shane here?"
