“Tell B n’t to call my parents,” Tim mutters through the pain.
“What?” he hears Red Hood asking, sounding far away, even though his hand is still tight around Tim’s throat.
“M’ parents,” Tim repeats urgently. “Don’t disturb ‘em. Got a ‘mergency protocol.”
“For what? Dying?” Red Hood’s voice dips deep, almost getting lost amongst the rushing in Tim’s ears.
“Bad for business,” Tim tells him right as he finally, blessedly, blacks out.
- Only then Red Hood decides to not kill him but bring him to a hospital and sit at his bedside until he wakes up. Tim has always been an opportunist, and he thinks it is time to bring the real Robin home.

There were dozens of guest bedrooms in Wayne Manor. Each were the same. A four-poster bed with an intricate, hand-carved headboard. A stately desk with an antique lamp, pull string and all. A dresser that was no doubt over a century old before Martha and Thomas were even born. The rooms were all kept clean and spotless by Alfred, ready for use at a moment's notice.
The guest rooms and the family rooms couldn't be more different. Heck, they were even in different wings. All of them.
Except Tim's room.
Tim's room was right next to Jason's, across the hall from Damian's, but it wasn't his. Certainly wasn't. Tim knew better. It was a semi-permanent guest room. After all, he wasn't a Wayne.

Tim had been on his way to the city for his usual vigilante photography (and resident 911 caller for the destruction Batman left in his wake), when he decided to take an impromptu pit stop by Jason’s grave. He had gone there a couple times before, the first time to check if he really was dead, and the second time to check if he hadn’t imagined it the first time.
But when he entered the graveyard and made his way to where Jason’s grave was, instead of a clean and maintained grave with lots of flowers (probably by Alfred, Tim had guessed), there was an entire boy sitting in front of his broken grave.
A boy with torn clothes, bruised face and body, panting heavily with his eyes glazed over.
A boy who looked a lot like Jason Todd.
