Killer had told Kidd a ridiculous amount of times that she did NOT care when she invited Law over or anyone really, she just wanted to know before hand, hell even if it was last minute it was still a heads up. But repeatedly Kidd did not inform her and it was getting on her nerves, but of course the whole thing ended up being a big fight. which caused her to leave, she'd like to say she did the mature thing but really she just didn't want to keep yelling at Kidd in front of her girlfriend who was over at the time.
And apparently Killer's 'I need away from everything spot also happened to be a certain bird's nightly smoke spot, a bird that no matter how much Kidd teased and Law gave friendly advice about did she like in the romantic since of the word. Her company and giving her a place to crash for the night was nice though, and defently didn't fuel those non existent feelings.

Summary
Jimmy was at a low, between moving out after a long fight with Scott, his long-term boyfriend, now ex-boyfriend. He was almost mad at himself that Lizzie, his sister, of all people had to point out multiple times that their relationship was basically one sided these for the last few months they were together, for jimmy to realize. Then after moving out, finding a place to stay.
He’s had a temporary set up at Fwhip’s where he was crashing in his guest room for the past few months now, while the two looked for an apartment for him. Currently it was almost midnight, he had been scanning a new website for anything that might work due to him not being able to sleep when he found a place that was fairly cheap and not in a bad part of town. Clicking on it jimmy realized the price was due to it being an ad for someone looking for a roommate which jimmy didn’t really want but after looking through the photos of the apartment he hesitated.
Finally, he caved and read through the small paragraph about the guy that was most likely wrote by said guy but it gave enough info to write the guy’s number and name down to try tomorrow

“It’s January, where are your gloves? Wait! What the hell are you doing here at一” Shachi leaned back, checking the time on the digital clock over the stove before straightening up again to face Kid. “一6:23 in the morning?”
Kid looked at Shachi like he was the one acting weird.
“Killer’s gonna be here in 30 minutes, I’m here to pick him up.”
“No,” Shachi said, hugging Bepo closer to his chest as a cold gust of wind breezed past. “That’s tomorrow.”

“Obviously,” Killer repeated mockingly.
“Plus, something tells me you know a lot more about what's going on than you let on.”

Penguin’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day takes a turn for the worse when he's forced to rely on the First Mate of a rival pirate crew to ensure his own survival. Separated from his crew with temperatures lowering by the day, and a newly deemed mutual enemy of both the Heart and Kid Pirates chasing them through a frozen landscape, Penguin's resolve is put to the test as he battles mother nature and his growing feelings for his unlikely companion who wants virtually nothing to do with him.
When Penguin gets back to his ship, he has half a mind to demand a hazard pay and an expensive bottle of rum for compensation… and coping. Definitely will need it for coping.
