Lord Hop-A-Lot took a deep swig of his tea. “I suppose there is one thing we could do, but it’s a mission that requires a lot of precision. Do you think you are ready for that?”
“I would do anything to assist the Queen, my lord!” said Crumb.
“That’s what I like to hear, my boy!” exclaimed Hop-A-Lot. “Very well then. If you truly believe Tadius is the one for Queen Ella, then all we have to do is make them realise they love each other! Tomorrow we will go to the castle, and the Queen will naturally send for Tadius to collect us, so that is where we enact the first part of our mission. Then, we have to convince the Queen. A few weeks ago you said she often walked to the river at night, so we shall go there first and talk about how much Tadius loves her while she listens and realises her true feelings!”

Summary
Aaravos has been dead a year. When his mortal form died, the nova that resulted took with him the remaining archdragons. With them gone, the arcanum hierarchy has been upset. In the resulting power vacuum an order of powerful mages have risen to the occasion, ascending themselves as gods. Demanding tithes and worship while commanding the might of the arcanum, they all have one goal in mind: subjugation of Xadia completely. At the same time, Azymondias, the last of his kind and line, is hunted by assassins that follow one calling themselves 'The Blooded'. And with each attempt, they get closer and closer. All the while King Ezran continues the rebuilding efforts of Katolis while also helping the city of Evrkynd in getting to its feet. Hoards of the dead continue to roam the night, even after the moon nexus was reverted, hunted by an elite task force. To say the Dragon Guard has their hands full would be an understatement.

Summary

Sometimes, he thinks that his little daughter - Sarai, is the only thing keeping him sane despite the monotony, so he tries his best to give her everything in his power, to make living a life in the castle as exciting as possible for a half-elf.But one day, that monotony breaks, as Callum recieves a message that once again turns his life upside down.
So he sets out on one last journey, to either bring Her home, or finally bury the past behind.

Summary
Across the spot in the council room where she stood guard, Callum glanced up from where he was doodling in his book. She fought not to avert her eyes, though she could feel the heat creeping up her neck and ears. His father, brother and counselors were all around him, but he beamed brightly at her anyway, eyes shining in honest glee. Despite her training, Rayla found herself returning it, before quickly smashing the “seriously-threatening-guard-face” (another Callum special) back on.
She wasn’t sure if Katolis felt right yet, but she wasn’t quite ready to leave.

In a Xadia were the war between humans and elves ended years ago, Rayla becames a guard in Katolis while looking for her place in the world. She wasn't counting of falling in love with a human prince, a romance she knows can never happen, but well. Turns out love finds a way.

It’s not that it’s a bad idea. In all honesty, Ezran thinks it’s a well thought-out, completely reasonable, perfectly sound idea that could solve a lot of his own problems, Callum’s problems, and Katolis’ problems, in one fell swoop - if it works, that is. It’s a little risky, he’ll admit, but it’s not the same as, say, running away from home at ten years old with his brother and a Moonshadow elf assassin (whose mission was to kill him, mind) to return a dragon egg in the midst of a centuries-long war, and hey, they’d managed that all right. Compared to that mess, politics should be easy, right?
Right?

Downtime in Wartime (Callum pov) and Upside Downtime (Rayla pov) add between-episodes-moments to the canon story, and takes place during S1-3. Chapters are oneshots, and can be read independently.
Down to Earth, consisting of S4: Down to Earth and S5: Down Below the Ocean, continue the story into hypothetical seasons 4 and 5 after an 18-month timeskip. Unlike DiW and UD, this a continuous story with an original plot. Was written before Through the Moon, so is alternate universe, now.
You can read all stories independently, none are necessary to understand others.
