Perceptor is perfectly willing to tolerate a certain amount of personal information about Brainstorm that goes well beyond what most mechs might share in polite company. He’s not a prude, certainly, and intimacy is a healthy part of many mech's lives.
The stimulation box left carelessly in plain view on Brainstorm’s lab table gives him pause. Brainstorm himself is not in evidence, likely retrieving something from a cargo bay, so Perceptor takes a single step towards it to confirm.
Perceptor isn’t in the habit of snooping around the lab, but if Brainstorm is going to leave one of his personal projects sitting out in plain sight, no one can blame him for noticing it.

Summary
First Aid makes the two kilometer hike under the cover of dense, temperate rainforest. The sun filtering through the high canopy is beautiful, water puddling in old stumps, the old growth covered in deep green moss, fungi, and climbing vines. As he approaches his destination, some of the tension eases. There's so much sensor data to parse that his processor releases some of the resources devoted to tending his low-level dissatisfaction. The sky, pale and clear where he can see it through gaps in the outstretched branches, makes the day seem brighter.
The war is over. First Aid finds a dirty Decepticon.

His first thought, upon seeing the mech jump off of the cliffside and fall directly towards him, was that the Quintessons had somehow managed to make a Cybertronian to fight for them. That the mech descending from above, plasma blade pointed down towards him as he was held in place by the Scouts on either side of him, was a reanimated corpse, experimented on by the Quints to make a mech-killing machine.
[No EM field. No spark-pulse signature. Possession of Quintesson weaponry. 42%.]
He reconsiders when the downwards motion of the mech slices through the segmented arm locked onto his right servo.

There are many ways in which Jazz could have done better, for example for one, by not being a moron, by not getting himself off the fucking orbit, and for third by not getting himself a giant alien boyfriend which he did not know was an alien..
Now that he thinks about it he kinda scored.
Nice.. expect now his alien boyfriend wants an alien version of mirrage and Jazz does not have whatever a spark is but he doesn't want to lead Prowl on.
