“Did you catch a glimpse of the Devil of Silence’s Wandering Ossuary?” a villager carrying a basket of laundry chatted with a lady in azure.
“Of course! Ugh… that thing gives me the heebie-jeebies… did you know? Whoever approaches that thing gets their heart consumed!” the lady in azure exclaimed.
“Really…?!” gasped another villager nearby who was hanging up laundry on their clothing line, “I heard that the Devil of Silence only kidnapped freshly baked cookies… to keep their skulls.”
“Yes that’s also true,” continued the lady, “the Devil of Silence doesn’t have a heart, so to make up for it he consumes innocent cookies! All the people in the Salt Flatlands disappeared like the clouds in the sky because of that beast…! POOF...! Just like that.”
“Oh… my!” The two cookies doing their laundry gasped in horror, “He is the cruelest and most vile creature ever baked.”
