    She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.

    Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.

    I swore to myself that another poly ship wouldn’t get me this bad ever again…. Apparently my word means fucking nothing.
    Fully blame my sister for making me watch this movie.
    I’m now spiraling and this is the best fic I’ve come across to the point I’m counting down the days between chapters and daydreaming abt it at work.
    THE VOICES. THEYRE GETTING ME. Istg this is like a canon event for me whenever I start a new part of my life. A poly ship I obsess over has to accompany me with a fuck ton of new interests (I’m a kpop fan now???)
    Anyway onto the actual fic. Characterization is so on point I’m convinced this author was a writer in the movie cause hello. I read another fic right after this and was so disappointed at the lack of adequate characterization (it wasn’t even bad it’s just I had a taste of perfection and now mediocre doesn’t cover it). The number one thing that is so dear to me is their SILLINESS. Ik i purposely search for angst but the hurt/COMFORT tag is always right there too. WHY ARENT THEY STUPIDLY SILLY WEIRDOS. This fic does it so right. I’ve cried sm tears, mostly from laughter. The mall chapter is like the greatest ever. And following it up with sick rumi? Ok just have my first born child and my life savings if you just keep making this amazing soup catered just for me.
    Just read chapter 19 and giggled and kicked my feet the whole time. POLYTRIX FOREVER BUT ALSO RIJUNI PLATONIC FRIENDSHIP FOREVER!!
    Always a yuri advocate but Juni was so silly i couldn’t help but like his character but I just hated him and rumi romantically together.
    Him trolling her and annoying her endlessly from her sword? Absolutely yes gimme 14 of them rn.
    Even though the canon universe is very integral to the plot and characters, I feel like this fic didn’t need that at all and yes Ik technically it’s a modern university au but like demon rumi guys 😫. Talk abt understanding your characters.
    Ok im done. I’m gonna look at this in like 3 years and cringe at my yapppinf but wtv. Maybe the sequel will be out by then.

    She doesn’t even think that anyone ever hugged her, before she met her team.
    And now, she’s here, between her first and best friends – and Zoey keeps burying her head in Rumi’s shoulder, whenever she laughs too much; and Mira’s legs are pressed against her own, and the taller girl absentmindedly grabs her hand every now and then.

    She thinks she might like it - being held like this.

    Literally one of the funniest fics I’ve read to date. Idk how the author manages to flawlessly incorporate pining, horniness, wholesomeness, and hilarious one liners into one fic. It’s too much. This fic made me cry. Of laughter. Literally muffling myself into my pillow at 2 am so I don’t wake up the whole house because of Lena’s struggles with thermal underwear.
