Summary
Galinda Arduenna Upland is a crown princess. Her family rules Gillikin Country, being magically linked to their homeland, their well-being and happiness bring good harvests and happiness to the people.
Elphaba is just a green-skinned girl, daughter of a governor of Munchkinland, who has strange magical abilities and is criticized and abused most of the time, especially by her mother.
It's unlikely that these two have anything in common, but nature reveals the soul connection that brings disastrous consequences to the plans made by their families. -

Summary
Galinda is a great actress and singer. She grew up in front of the screen. Her first role was when she was still a baby. She had successful films and series. Unfortunately, despite her wealth and fame, her life was far from perfect. She was lonely. She had conflicts with her parents due to financial abuse. They thought they had the right to take all the money they wanted from her work, which drove them apart. At the age of 18, Galinda began to take control of her career.
Elphaba was a young theater actress. She didn't dream of getting roles in famous films or series. Her dream was simply to have financial stability, a simple home, and to live through her characters. Her talent extended beyond acting. Some cited her angelic voice as a hidden talent, but she had no particular desire to pursue a musical career. Her childhood was difficult, her stepfather did not support her after her mother died when she was 10 years old, and over time she became a servant in the house and nothing more, even her younger sister often treated her as someone who should serve her. Her only refuges were her books and the school theater, places where she could be someone else, someone loved.

Elphaba isn’t superstitious; she doesn’t believe in magic or ghosts or the supernatural; she has always been wary of organized religion; she’s never understood the people who believe in fate. Some might say it’s cynical. But Elphaba just doesn’t get it - she likes logic and reason and believes that everything can be explained.
So the thump in her chest at the voice is confusing to her. The sudden sense that the world has shifted on its axis is confusing.

“You’re different,” the woman murmured, the sound of it briefly tickling what was left of Galinda’s senses. “You’re not so eager to eat me.”
If she could still roll her eyes, Galinda would’ve had them stuck behind their lids by now. Not all zombies eat humans, alright? Well—at least not her!
“Ah, what am I saying,” retreating completely, Galinda could only watch as the woman chuckled to herself and looked at Galinda’s body from head to toe. “You’re probably just full.”
How she wished that were true. Galinda hadn't felt full in years. She was constantly hungry and grumbly, always craving for the nearest living flesh she could hardly find nowadays. Galinda was pretty sure the infection had already wiped out the better part of the world, leaving her with scraps if not birds for sustenance.
“Best not to waste my energy on you, then.”
And just like that, the oddly interesting green thing turned her back on Galinda and walked away.
The audacity! In what world was Galinda ever a waste of energy? Certainly not this zombie-infested one!
