Summary
Ford had long given up his idle daydream of being a respected professor at a famous institution, teaching his research to the next generation of scientists and oddballs. That is, until he’s forced once again to take up residence in his old home in the woods as his ship is docked for repairs. He begins teaching at the local college to bide his time and remain sharp, but discovers quickly that most modern students have no interest in the fields of the paranormal.

This may have been discontinued but the final chapter ends satisfyingly enough that the story works perfectly fine as a short little slow burn. Probably my favorite Professor!Ford fic I've found. I'm glad the author chose to orphan rather than delete.

Summary
Ford does not want to be at Backupsmore University. He should be in California, at West Coast Tech, showing the world that he's more than a freakish waste of space from Jersey; showing the world that he's more than the scrawny, brainy half of a dynamic duo. He's angry, sure, and he's sure-as-fuck tired of being just one-of-two-Stans.
But who isn't angry right now? The world is in turmoil, they're sending our boys to Vietnam and if it wasn't for this stupid school, Ford would have probably been sucked into the draft himself.

Wowie wow wow, you get such a sense of the culture in transition that was the late '60s (specifically 1969)! Author has absolutely done their homework. One of my favorite historical Gravity Falls fics.

Summary
Ford vowed to take every physics class at Backupsmore University. He didn't realize that this included a Physics for Elementary Education Majors class. He looks down on them, seeing them as dull-minded and far less intelligent than him, content to do arts and crafts and play with kids all day. Then, he finds someone who is likeminded to him, there of all places.
