Summary
The year of 1971, something had stolen William Byers, at the young age of merely ten, from an unforgiving Michael Wheeler for seven abysmal days.
From the dusk of November 7th of 1981 until the dawn of November 14th of 1981. Michael Wheeler had fought flesh, bone and blood to pry him out of the vines, moss and mud that clung to William like a leech craving to burrow itself into him like a second skin. Michael had clawed it out of William until the remnants of his torment drenched Michael’s scars -of his battle, in the name of devotion- with liniments of solace. He had found his heart, at what cost he did not care to unravel, William was alive in his arms, breathing back the life into his chest. However, everything the forest holds in its embrace leaves with claw marks on it, for the price of escape is hefty and Mirkwood is an unforgiving piece of hell.

Senior year was a difficult time for most students Izuku’s age. There was applying for college, keeping grades up, making varsity sports, staying focused on high school, getting homework done, extracurriculars, work, saving money for the colleges you’ve applied for, and of course, drug addiction.
Drug addict was a term that Izuku didn’t like to define himself by, but over the past few months that’s all people called him. He instead preferred the term overly motivated. After some drama with the police, Izuku was surprised to see he got out of it with no jail time other than the time he’d spent in before bail was released. He knew immediately it was shady business but who was he to turn down a free ride right before college? Smart. He would've been smart to turn it down.
....Orrrr, the fic where Izuku Midoriya is told to go undercover into a crime syndicate as a last resort for a burnt out police force and is shocked when he finds out how deep he's in it now.
