Summary
The first one is red.
Red as the dried blood on a festering injury, left too long without tending to it, infection nurturing in the carelessness. It’s red–black–red. Small. Soft. Pathetic thing that doesn’t even have the grace to grow thorns; smoothly going up his throat and out of his mouth. Withered before it even touches the ground.
Or: Alastor deals with Hanahaki. He has it under control, really.

El asunto con Akashi es---

Summary
The kiss is clumsy, playground-like in the way it’s awkward in a cute kind of manner, a press of lips that barely move and a play-pretend at the end of the world, surrounded by strawberries, in a sort of dream quality.
And Five whispers, just as soft: “Delores.”
The fucked up illusion shatters in a million of equally fucked up pieces, then.

Summary
Sometimes, when he still worked at the commission, Five would sit down and watch people go about their days. He would watch and watch and watch, how they move, how they talk, how they emote, he would see and ask himself if he was once like them.
He watched people while working at the Commission, trying to learn how to be human again, now he watches his siblings.
Or: Five, summer 2019 and learning to live in the aftermath.

Summary
Alastor looks in the mirror and blood-red eyes stare back at him. He blinks; they’re still there. Red pupils on red sclera on Alastor’s reflected face.
“What the fuck?” He sings-songs, in case it breaks the spell or the hallucination, but it does neither and he’s left staring at the mirror with the most deranged smile in his arsenal.
Or: A Serial Killer turned Radio Host turned Maybe-Demon experiences a constant break in reality. It may or may not be inside his head.

Summary
It’s a ritual of sorts.
A few years after he arrived in hell, Rosie taught him a few ways to make Demonic flesh taste better and it’s not so different from other kinds of animals, really.
One of the ways and one he’s familiar with from his days as a hunter, is to make sure the game doesn’t stress before the kill so the muscles don't tense. A clean shot, if possible, a quick death after injury if not.
The other method is to provide the (un)willing victim some quality food and enrichment before its ultimate demise. Playing the long game before cutting into it to obtain its flesh, before carving to the bones and festing on those, too.
Rosie does love the long game.

Summary
Alastor, as the hotelier of the most sought after establishment in Hell and an Overlord with a penchant for the finer things of life –or death, is a generally busy person, as everyone with some common sense would know. So, the rubber duck appearing on the kitchen counter when he’s cooking and calling out a: “STOP AVOIDING ME, FUCKER”, is totally uncalled for.
Especially when the little thing is painted in red and sprouting a pair of antlers from its head.

Summary

Summary
Alastor looks at the six flowers that act as the hellish equivalent of a rose, three red-crimson and three a bright magenta, black thorns sprouting from an equally black stem, a streak of neon blue along them, disrupting the palette. It fits, regardless.
“I thought you didn’t like flowers.” Charlie says, still looking at them in curiosity, but keeping her hands firmly in her lap.

Summary
He’s here, simply put, for entertainment value.
“I’m hardly an expert.” Alastor says, grin in place and staring at the star themed ceiling. “But I think you’re doing it wrong.”
Lucifer rises from where he was bruising his neck. “How am I doing it wrong?”
That is, if it manages to get entertaining at some point.
Spoiler: it does.

Summary
The first and only time Vox hypnotizes Alastor they’re eight years into this almost-something, into this dancing-around-it. So, eight years in he starts to have an almost-compulsive thought, something he wakes up to and goes back to sleep with.
The opportunity presents itself when Alastor pops in his department, a hurricane of energy and movement, giddy about some deal he made, about this other-overlord Vox stopped paying attention to, the moment Alastor reached out to trace a finger over his screen, demanding attention when he turned to look for the nice whiskey he knows Alastor likes.
So, Vox says:
“You want me.”

“Oh, Voxy.” Valentino coos, kneeling beside him and tweaking one of his antennae between his claws. “Lovesickness suits you.”
“Thanks.” He says, drily and continues to make his best efforts to cough up his guts.
Insides half biological, half-mechanical; lungs entirely the latter at this point, he waited too long to remove the flowers manually, tweezers and scissors, and they resorted to come out in other ways. Other holes, ugh.
Or: Red flowers he refuses to learn the name of, bitchy business partners and a bit of daily Alastor’s stalk– vigilance. A day into Vox’s life.

Summary
“Alternative reality?” Bones grunts.
“More like parallel universes.” Jim says, holding the can of beer Bones offered him. "Don't you think about it? How would it be?"
“We already have our own problems, why should we go out looking for more?”
He smiles and raises his head to look at the ceiling. "Ah, Bones, you always so practical."
But Jim wonders.

Summary
“Who–” he starts to say, high pinched, but his searching glances stop at the desperate pale green eyes and he knows.
The man stares at him without blinking, chest rising and falling quickly before he stops and takes carefully controlled breaths. Viktor stares back, eyes wide and holding his breath, not daring to believe, but doing anyway.
“Viktor,” he rasps, voice almost unrecognizable. But that’s his brother, that’s his brother.
Or: Five returns after two years and eight months missing, for his siblings anyway.

“He knows I’m not made of glass, now piss off.”

Summary
He shouldn’t be here.
He really shouldn’t be here, not on Midgard, of all possible realms and specially not here, but, well, they did left him behind in Vanaheim.
"What do you think you're doing here?" A hoarse voice asks and Loki definitely does not fall on his ass.
