Summary
For the past week, the citizens of New York had noticed a distinct lack of vigilantes. Everybody had a different theory, some believed that the FBI had captured the lot of them to perform experiments and recruit them into a super-powered task force; others believed that it was a sign of another city-destroying attack - one so deadly that all the local heroes all had to band together to defeat.
These theories were wrong.
They were playing hide-and-seek.
Or: The vigilantes of New York try and fail to hide from Matt Murdock.

Summary
Fics & ficlets I’ve had running through my head and want to put out in the ether. Mostly Matt whump with a little silliness down the road (esp as I drift more into Avengers crossovers).
Mostly stand-alone, though others in the series can add context for character interactions as that builds. But think of it more as snapshots over time instead of a continuous narrative.
Current theory is that it's how I process my own sensitive senses and chronic pain. But I'm at the point I keep cycling these in my head, re-editing them, and it's becoming a problem for focus and sleep. I'm hoping that getting them out of my head will help me stop #@!&ing thinking about them finally.
I feel like I’ve read just about every DD fanfic on this site at this point, and I'm sometimes unsure if my ideas are actually original versus just an amalgamation of all I’ve read Frankensteined together. To that effect, if you notice something is super similar to something else you've read, then my brain probably looped it in to my own story, so please let me know in the comments so I can take a look to see if I remember it, then credit it under 'remix/inspired by' accordingly.

Frodo grasped Pippin's wrist, bracketed by Sam and Merry. Moving as one, the four bounded together to form a pack of rabbits, slipping to and fro between the building battle. Merry, instinctively, pelted a large rock at a Warg's eye with a cry as it came too close — it reared its ugly head, falling in line for Aragorn's Andrúil to pierce it through.
'Good aim,' he panted, carding the hair back from his eyes, 'We shall make you a slingshot yet.'
'A bow may suit him!' Came Legolas' bird-song call from above. His shadow spun a swift curvet against the coming dark, silver hair gleaming with the last vestiges of marigold skies. 'Alas, we could bear another archer!'
'You would want that, wouldn't you?' Gimli shouted.
