    I might be too much in love with the Death Echoes trope. So, have a whole bunch of Bruce taking care of Danny. It's basically a sickfic with extra hurt/comfort.

    It takes place in the same verse as More Like Home but probably won't happen until after the plot of that fic is done. At this point, Danny has been living with Bruce for a little under a year.

    The waves of understanding and possibilities of timelines crossed through each other, weaving into strands and pouring out in rivers of different choices. There is an unfathomable amount of opportunities that break through a dam of new life that could be led. Yet, very few painted a safe return but rather the ending was the Denizens of the infinite realms avenging their Young King.
    Only fate and time can predict what could happen with the thousands of possibilities splintering from the golden weaves, an audience of the two unwavering on such an important event.

    However, Clockwork was adamant that nothing worse that could happen, would happen to the young halfa if they had a say, which they did to an extent. The being had grown attached to their king as the young one had almost been akin to their fraid, something they were painfully reminded of as screams rang through the beings ears, they pleaded. Please, forgive them young king, they tried to keep you safe, it’ll be over soon. They promise that much.

    Damian was born a twin. A twin he never told his family in Gotham about. Partly because he didn’t want to put his Father through the emotions of realizing he’d lost another child. Partly out of his own selfish desire to have something: His twin was his reflection and his opposite, more defiant, more kind. And weaker. When his twin’s health issues became apparent when they were. Danny was quickly disposed.

    Which now made the current situation incredibly difficult to deal with. As now every time Damian is alone outside of the manor, Danny is there. Same age and looking even more like their Father. At first, Damian ignored the hallucinations of his dead twin. Chalking it up to sleep deprivation. Though when they continued after he fixed his sleep schedule; he gave in. The two of them talk and act like normal teenagers. It’s clear to Damian that the hallucinations are a way for him to cope with the loss of his twin since he was never given the chance to grieve. But now Damian has to grapple with how to tell his family about his dead twin since almost all of them have stumbled upon him during a hallucination, only for Danny disappear the instance they’re interrupted.

If the scheme goes to plan they might just make their family whole again.

    Just the Parent trap with Danny and Damian without the getting your parents back together part. Yes I did remove the romantic subplot from a romantically focused story and made it work because I'm stubborn like that. Yes I did steal this synopsis directly off the movie.
