A week after leaving Hogwarts for the summer, Harry is pulled from the Dursleys, only to be trudged into a hearing at the Ministry. Turns out they were given a tip that Harry was not being cared for.
Now Harry is back at school dealing with a new guardian, the triwizard tasks, a more-manipulative-than-ever Headmaster, and his ever growing lovelust for the Dark Arts.

So McGonaggal suggests watching some of Harry's most important memories to see for themselves, only she hopes it would reveal the truth about Voldemort before anyone gets in trouble.
Naturally, the entire school watches right along with them, and Madam Bones is invited to attend as well in the hopes of leaving things neutral.

They watch the Harry Potter books... but not everything - it's a fun project I decided to start and it's not going to be too long. Also, it won't move past the fifth book, since... they haven't been through any more adventures yet. Hope you like it :)
(PS - I was obviously wrong, this is going to be super long, for some reason.)
(Another PS - this might show a couple of scenes from after the fifth book if I decide to add a bonus chapter. We'll see.)

If newborn dragon hatchlings are abandoned for any particular reason (the mother could've been killed, certain species of dragons bury their eggs in the sand to fend for themselves once they hatch, etc), they will immediately adapt to the environment so that their chances of survival are guaranteed. This can mean burying themselves even further into the sand, becoming invisible, or even shapeshifting.

After yet another near-death experience, this time by werewolf, Harry was sent home to his ‘loving’ family once more. His hope of escape and a new life with his godfather, raised for those scant moments before the full moon released Moony and sent Sirius once more on the run from the Aurors, was as ashes in his mouth as he rode the train back to London.
Apathy saw Harry beaten and starved to the point of death such that three weeks into his summer ‘holiday’ he falls into a coma that he cannot be woken from. Afraid, the Dursleys take him and abandon him in a ditch far away from Little Whinging on their way to a week’s holiday on the Isle of Man.
When Harry awakens, things have changed far more than he expected.
