Summary
Athena goes to Zeus in private to request Odysseus's freedom. Instead of striking Athena, Zeus offers her a deal. He will release Odysseus from Ogygia if Athena agrees to spend a year as a mortal in Odysseus's palace. With little say in the matter, she accepts.
On Ithaca, Athena awakes in the body of a 12 year old servant, specifically an orphan servant with a reputation for poor performance. Which is good because Athena has no idea what she's doing and doesn't have much time to learn. Suitors have infected the palace, Telemachus is waiting for divine help that will never come, and Odysseus will be home in two weeks. She has a lot of work ahead of her, and it won't end when Odysseus retakes his throne.

Summary

Summary
Jester had gotten used to seeing Caleb around since he started working at the same school as her five months ago. You’d think an art teacher and a physics teacher would have little reason to interact, but at such a small school all of the teachers knew each other to some degree. Besides, how often does someone get a handsome German coworker? Of course she had to hang out with him.
Despite growing closer over the months, they were still mostly work friends. They didn’t make a habit out of seeing each other outside of school, let alone at their homes.
They especially didn’t go over to each other’s homes in the middle of the night during a snowstorm soaking wet and holding a cat carrier.
