Summary
Two patients. One long-term ward. And a whole lot of tension.
Violet has been navigating the challenges of H'EDS for as long as she can remember, keeping her pain, frustrations, and sarcasm close to the chest. That is until she ends up sharing a hospital room with Xaden Riorson and her whole world is turned upside down.
Thrown together in the confines of a hospital room meant for two, they clash, argue, and slowly—terrifyingly—start to understand each other. Outside their room, the rest of the ward is a chaotic mix of friends and fellow patients, each carrying their own struggles, secrets, and moments of humour
In a place where every day is measured in exams, scans, and heartbeats, connections are fragile, laughter is rare, and falling for someone who’s just as sick as you might be the hardest thing of all.
