Summary
Before there was man, or matter, or energy. There was Time and Night. The void at the borders of existence, and the ceaseless rhythm in which all things exist. It was their union, their love, which made all of creation possible. And it was this same love that created The Endless. But eventually, they drifted apart, growing detached from each other and their children. Despite their detachment, the old adage proved true, absence only makes the heart grow fonder. Countless centuries of separation eventually pulled them together. For a short while they bathed in the memory of their love, and reignited the smoldering ash of their passion. Only once. But once is all it takes
From this reunion, something new was created. Someone new was born. Dread, the lord and personification of all fear and understanding, and now the youngest sibling of The Endless. It is uncertain who they will be or how their existence will disrupt the world. But I suppose now is the time that we find out.
