after the defeat of their father, Poseidon asks his sister, the goddess of motherhood to raise the boy.
with the blood of the seas and the primordial night herself running through his veins, Percy claims more domains than any god before.
When Hellen of troy is born, Zeus afraid of what may befall his daughter if left unattended asks his nephew to raise the girl. unwilling to take the roll of her father, Perseus takes the form of a woman and raises Hellen as his daughter. After her wedding to Menelaus he leaves to return to his godly duties. Not returning to her life until his work brings him to troy.
Finding his daughter taken against her will The god of one thousand things will go to the ends of the earth to ensure her safety.

Jason Todd grew up with a fundamental fear of being seen. Not in the sense of shyness, but in the sense of shame. He supposed, if he wished to contemplate the fear’s origins, he might start where most tragedies do:
The house he grew up in.
Where the act of wanting was as good as a death sentence to that desire.
He supposed he might even make an argument for the statement “people become what they are called”. He thinks that might have some merit, looking back.
What he fears most, (like most other people), is how obvious it is to others. The fear itself.
He wonders if they can see it.or
Thanks to a rogue meta, the batfam gets to watch Jason's memories like a movie; and Jason just really wants a family again. But you cannot be loved if you aren't known, and well... if circumstances provide? might as well take the chance, right?

Summary
The last thing Jason remembers before waking up in an AIM facility is a bright blue light and lugging his target's body toward extraction. Now, he's in a totally different universe without any idea of how to get back. With a group of people that seem just as messed up as him. Not that he's complaining. The redhead is pretty awesome and the WWII vet with a metal arm seems to get him. Plus, for some reason, he can't get the girl with the claws out of his head. Which is good because she seems to be on the same boat about him. If only he could get the kid to sleep and learn the definition of "self-preservation".

Damian frowns at him. “No?”
“Real tall guy,” the Joker suddenly pipes up from the holding cell, “white streak in his hair. Kinda looks like Bruce Wayne, if you ask me!”
Damian blinks. “Oh. Well, I do know a Jason that fits that description, but his last name is not Todd.”
“What the hell is it then?”
Damian frowns harder. “Al Ghul.”
And just like that, Bruce’s worldview goes to complete and utter shit.

Or: Jason decides that if someone has to be a monster in this world’s shadows, it might as well be him. This decision might’ve been influenced by the fact that Talia al Ghul decided to spring her son on him and also gaslight everyone into believing that Jason is her eldest child. Also, he kills his pseudo-grandfather and kind of accidentally becomes the new R’as al Ghul, because by now, he’s way too deep in Talia’s con-shit to back out.
…It all goes over surprisingly well.
