“How old am I?” Dick rephrases the question. Realistically, given the lines on Bruce's face and the grey in his hair, he has to be more than a decade or two in the future. But, well, Dick's still reeling from being twelve. He can't begin to imagine a world where there's anything past tomorrow.
Bruce's smirk sinks a little, but not quite to a frown. It's a distant smile, fighting through the shadows of whatever it is Bruce sees when he looks down at him. In a quiet, mournful tone, he says, “Not that old. Not old at all.”

He’s nine again– nine and new and knows so many things now so rather than try to go back–
He thinks he has the chance to make things right.
The bright blue trainers he puts on are a pair he hasn’t worn in forever, something he never thought about after he grew out of them (will grow out of?) a year from now, and sets off into the night and into the rain.
The plan he has in his brain is not really a plan, moreso just a couple of half thrown ideas and maybe five steps into building back the life he had in the most painless way he could.
Maybe, he thinks, maybe this plan can start off with the family he misses– because he’s sixty and most of them too injured or too old or too dead–
Call him selfish but he misses them. He would rather find them than get himself back into that lonely existence he called a life before he woke up at nine.
Dick makes do because that’s all he can do really.

Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

No matter the character or story or universe, there’s a literary trend that those with abilities ostentatious enough to be labeled as superpowers are destined to do impossibly important and flashy things in life.
The irony of this is not lost on him.Or: a cultural festival drama performance, a tendency to blow out his apartment’s electrical circuit, and his last national tournament as Fukuroudani’s practicing vice-captain (with absolutely no accompanying emotional baggage to be found, thank you) may not seem to have a lot in common at first glance, but Keiji’s existence never stops proving itself to be a cosmic anomaly.

Summary
Klaus is okay. He's always okay. Nothing to see here, he's fine.
Except Ben is gone, the whole timeline is royally fucked, and some asshole is out there wearing his brother's face.
Now the Hargreeves are stuck in a 2019 that's the same but not quite, and while the rest of the Academy unites to get them home, fend off the Sparrows, save the day etc., Klaus finds there isn't much room for him in the team. Maybe there never was.
But when he makes friends with a lonely ghost on a rooftop one night, he has a revelation. Breaking bones and cracking skulls has never really been his deal, but there may be other ways to help save the day, or whatever.
He might not be much of a superhero, but he's not an overly terrible medium. Perhaps, he could be something in between.
