    Father Aziraphale Fell is a haunted priest who has kindled a tentative friendship with landscape designer and gardener Anthony Crowley, who has been tending to his church’s neglected gardens— and that friendship has been mingled with a growing desire and longing since they met.

    When the tantalizing gardener offhandedly mentions that his career isn’t exactly fruitful, Aziraphale offers to help him. Crowley, in response, jokingly mentions the concept of ‘sugaring’ to the priest, assuming he’d have no idea what he meant, but Aziraphale is full of many, many surprises.

    In which there is A Murder - rather a lot of them, actually - A Marriage Proposal - just the one - and True Love - whose course runs less not-smooth than it takes a sharp left turn, loops a couple times, and doubles back on itself, before crashing straight into a wall.
    (Don't mind the metaphor. It still ends well. Promise.)
