Ultra Magnus grows to be distrustful of Optimus after he gets awfully close to Megatron over the course of his incarceration. The distrust becomes outright accusations and when Megatron breaks free from Autobot holding, and ‘flees with Optimus,’ it certainly doesn’t ease his suspicions.
Meanwhile, Megatron is trying to figure out why he kidnapped Optimus in the first place.
