“Did you want to be pinned down just now Shidi?”
The question hung in the air as Shang Qinghua smiled down from where he sat over Liu Qingge.
The sound of whispers and scurrying footsteps was the only signal that Liu Qingge’s disciples had seen anything, but there had been a decent number of them gathered to watch him spar with the lord of An Ding.
Spar. What a joke.
Shang Qinghua had wiped the floor with Liu Qingge in only a few moves, pinned him to the ground, and now sat atop him, his smile the only thing that could be considered gloating.
The worst part was that Liu Qingge was the one who agreed to the sparring terms.
“Well?” Shang Qinghua asked. He released Liu Qingge’s arms from where they were pinned by his sides and crossed his own to rest them across the War God’s chest. Slowly Shang Qinghua leaned forward until he lay on top of Liu Qingge, propped up only by his arms. “Did you just let me pin you down Shidi?”
Or: Liu Qingge spars with Shang Qinghua, gets pinned, comes to a realization, then gets pegged. Shang Qinghua has a great time.
