“There must be black magic in her fingers.” I muttered softly, my breath had gotten caught deep in my chest and was refusing to leave. I turned over the black ring that hung loose around my right middle finger, the one I had to clench my hand to keep on at times. As I watched June, the most in her element I'd ever seen her, I tried to memorize every note, every feature I possibly could.
She was only going to play three songs. It was already her second, and I couldn't just let this end without even properly listening.
