Drifter Dee helps Arthur install a mod on himself. Arthur is incredibly normal about the process.
Arthur let out a groan, which immediately became the most embarrassing thing he’d ever done—way worse than that time Eleanor had pantsed him in year seven—and by Sol, he was making this weird, wasn’t he? He stole a glance at Dee’s face to check their reaction, who turned out to be in the process of stealing a glance at his face (probably checking to make sure he wasn’t about to be violently ill). The unexpected eye contact made his cheeks flood with heat, which made everything worse. He hadn’t blushed like that in a decade, at least.

It has a port on the back of its neck which it feels vulnerable about
ART has altered Murderbot’s code to grow its hair longer
Murderbot has a human who is augmented
SecUnits and augmented humans have areas where tech and flesh interface
I think that:
The perfect person to deal with any problems Murderbot might have with hairs and ports is obviously Gurathin but they’d probably both find the whole experience excruciating
ART probably wouldn’t be much help
No one has ever just gently stroked Murderbot’s skinSeries
