It is careless and naive of her to wish that her hands could reach and fix what the world had relentlessly broken. Insensitive. What right does she have? What does she know? But she does know. Thousands of hours poured out in front of a screen, she knows.
The Lotus awakens a Tenno who knows too much of the world. Something that cannot be, but the Tenno have always been walking the knife's edge of what is possible.
Or: The Operator tries to make her peace with realizing there is so much more to the world she finds herself in beyond what she has seen on a screen as a player.

Summary
Ethan Reed, once an ordinary young man from Earth, is mysteriously transported to the vibrant world of Pokémon. Stranded and bewildered, he spends over a year in an untamed forest, surviving and adapting to his new reality while waiting for rescue. During this time, he creates a small plot of land for himself and the surrounding Pokémon, cultivating a farm of berry trees, a secluded meadow, and a rough shelter.
One fateful day, Ethan is rescued by an experienced Pokémon Ranger, who helps him reach Eterna City. There, Ethan is welcomed by the community of Pokémon trainers, nurses, and League officials after his harrowing experience. Despite their warm reception, Ethan feels out of place and uncertain about his future in this unfamiliar world.

Ahh, the land of Bugaria.
A peaceful, prosperous place where many adventurous bugs gather. Be it riches, glory, purpose or mere boredom, no matter the reason, this realm proved to be a true beacon for these kindling spirits. A torch in the darkness of uncertainty which surrounds it. Vital, yet not particularly kind, it might prove too much even for you.
Wary traveler, would you be satisfied with its warmth and light, or find it too abrasive for your unjusted eyes?
This tale follows one such case. A being most cunning, a being most cautious, a being most hurt and yet... a being most divine. How would she fare in this land of hope, against a light fueled by tales and wishful thinking? Especially now when the beacon it's at its brightest, burning with never-ending fuel: The Everlasting Sapling.
This treasure dwarfs them all, traveler. For after all, wealth, glory, purpose mean nothing against immortality. Even Bugaria itself might be unable to keep this torch lit much longer. Its fire could burn the very arm that holds it in place!
Or it may not...
I only know what Bugaria is. To see what it could be... we'll just have to see...
