Summary
This is little moments from the movie where I want, ‘wow I wonder how Juds alluded to previous life impacts how he thinks and feels in these scenes. It must really suck’ and then I wrote all that down.

Jud feels the fist of Monsignor Wicks collide with his stomach.
“You’re angry, you should be. It’d be dangerois if you weren’t,”
The Monsignor is speaking to him. He knows that, but it’s not just the Monsignor’s fist he feels. It’s his first fight in the ring, and it’s the fist of his father, and it’s the fist of the man he killed in the ring. It’s hard to keep straight whose fist it is because in the moment Jud’s mind remembers a hundred punches just like this one.

“What Am I” takes place mid episode 5 of “The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark”“What Are We” is set around few months after “The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark” and has Eddie Bruce and Barbara in the beginning of an agreement that Eddie will help them solve cases in return for a vacation of sorts from Arkham
“A Fickle Thing (Trust)” is a few months after “What Are We”

Not only can he not afford to sleep for the dreams that will haunt him there, he can't afford to keep dropping things and snapping at shadows. He has an assistant pastor to worry about now, not just a congregation to care for on his own. That means he has to ask for help.

Blanc receives an unexpected call in the middle of the night, a call that leads to him taking in a traumatized 17 year old ex-boxer. What could possibly go wrong?
This concept came to me from reading the absolutely lovely fic The Same Dead Eyes in the Mirror by that_one_kid, please go read that and give it lots of love.

Summary
A character study of Jud.

The scene of Wicks confession left me with a lot of feelings, and I wanted to dig more into the fact that he sexually harasses Jud, and obviously explore how Jud dealt with that, specially because I feel like he hinted at having dealt with a lot of complicated things when he was a boxer.
