Summary
“Am I... a failure?” Neytiri asked. Her chin tilted up with a regal arrogance laced with genuine, wounded fury. “Am I lacking in the standard of the 'bedroom'?”
Jake blinked, “Wh—what standard? The what?”
Neytiri let out a long, suffering hiss. "The 'human' way," she spat, her eyes narrowing into slits. "Speak, Jakesully! Am I not... hot?"
"Believe me, Ney, you’re the... uh, hottest woman I’ve ever been with. By a long shot. No competition."
"You lie!" she hissed.
Or, one stupid human bar trick. That’s all it took for Jake Sully to accidentally rewrite the mating laws of Pandora

Summary
December rolls around, as it usually does every year, and Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler are still laid up in Hawkins Memorial Hospital, as they will be for a while—or so Nancy's been told. So it's up to her to look after Holly and Mike, if they'll let her, and deal with the doctors to sort out recovery plans, if they'll listen to her, and clean the house up from that total wreck of a night over a month and a half ago when the world almost ended. And also maybe kind of try to make Christmas feel like anything resembling the stretched out shape of a holiday at all.
Nancy has a lot on her plate. Probably could use something to take her mind off it all.
And Steve's been Christmas shopping anyway, so he may as well look around. Just in case.

Summary
He’d actually looked the word up in a dictionary once. Idiot. Not too long ago, back when he’d been bored and killing time and— okay also maybe because people kept using big words around him that he didn’t understand, and he wanted to be a little less of an idiot. And so since he had the book on hand anyway, why not look it up?
Obviously, he knew what it meant. He’d heard it over and over. But it was different being told something and actually seeing and learning it firsthand. And so he was curious. Curious like you’re curious about the meaning of your name. This thing that defines you. What does it mean to be Steve Harrington?
What does it mean to be an idiot?
Steve has spent years being the reliable babysitter, punching bag, and emotional support ex-boyfriend. Nancy's been moving forward while looking back, telling herself she isn't about to hit a brick wall. Eventually something's gotta give.A post-non-canon-compliant season 5 story about denial having a short shelf life and that eventually you're gonna have to eat your vegetables. Pretend that made sense.
Featuring: long overdue emotional breakdowns

Summary
The apocalypse is boring as shit. It’s frustrating as hell. And it leaves Nancy with a wasteland of brain space primed to be overtaken by…just about anything, really. But mostly Steve’s shoulders and the dark hair curling across Steve’s chest and the fresh scars gnawed into Steve’s stomach.
