Fantastic fic! (Just as all of Signy1’s work is!) Beautifully written; compelling plot and character growth arcs. 👏👏👏

Bookmarker's Notes
Lovely character study in Gwen’s POV regarding the power imbalance in Gwen and Arthur’s budding relationship. A deft and compelling exploration of implicit risks Gwen might have faced if the prince pursuing her was a less honorable man than Arthur. Gossip, insinuations, seeds of doubt, and *lots of awkward convos and blushing* before Arthur and Gwen clear the air between them. They’re adorable, honestly, and just so sincere. <3
(Note: There are multiple conversations about and allusions to bed-warming and dub-con/non-con, but none of it is graphic or gratuitous, and none of those things occur between A & G (nor does A have any untoward intentions).) -

Summary
“You broke the law and practiced magic, but since you’re stupid and obviously couldn’t hurt a fly even if you tried, I’ve decided to spare you’re life for now.”
Merlin shook his head, still looking gobsmacked.
“No that part I understood - and I’m very much grateful for keeping my head - but could you please repeat that first part again?
Or
Arthur found out Merlin’s secret. Now he’s trying his best to be reasonable so what about this is so infuriatingly difficult for Merlin to understand?

Summary
Lord McGraffin, head treasurer of Camelot, was a diligent man. He handled Camelot’s finances with great care and took pride in his dedicated work. Not one servant on his roster had ever been paid even a single day too late.
So imagine his surprise when one fateful day the king’s manservant came to him and demanded wages for more than 10 years worth of unpaid service to the crown.

Adorable. Poignant. Hilarious. Outsider POV. Also an excellent addendum from the author in the comments. :)

Summary
Arthur Pendragon is a weak king. Of this, Cyril is convinced. Overthrowing the King is the only logical conclusion. Cyril certainly possesses the brilliance for a coup, though finds himself lacking in brawn. Fortunately, he succeeds in recruiting a man who also has little respect for their liege: Sir Gwaine.

THIS. IS. WONDERFUL ❤️❤️❤️ Gwen’s POV (1st person), exploring what it might have been like for Gwen while she was under that enchantment. Includes Arwen reconciliation, Merlin & Gwen friendship, and the truth coming out about the enchanted bracelet. This fic gives Gwen the closure and vindication that she deserved but didn’t receive in canon.

Summary
He cursed viciously; not because he had to put on a cold, wet, dirty shirt, but because, given the state of him, there was absolutely no way Arthur would believe any of his favored excuses, which meant he’d have to go with Gaius’s standard answer of The Tavern.

Love this! Poor Merlin 😂 Not even the tavern excuse is enough to get him out of this interrogation 😂

Summary
“I’m sorry... I must’ve misheard you. What the hell did you just say?” This can’t be real. This cannot possibly be real. He must be hallucinating. Hearing things. Maybe he’s finally lost it. That would make more sense than this.
Gwaine grins back at him with a somewhat manic smile. Merlin tries to sink deeper into his bed. “I said that we accidentally raised the dead.” No. He heard right.
OR
The Knights raise the dead. Merlin just wants one full night of sleep, please.

Summary
Episode tag to 'With All My Heart.' Merlin, Mordred, Arthur and Gwen have all returned safely from the Cauldron, but Merlin has a few things to get off his chest. After all, it's not like he can tell Arthur what he thinks of being forgotten and abandoned, can he?
*.*.*.*.*
Gaius immediately assumed the worst, but it was an easy mistake to make. The grim expression on Merlin’s face as he stalked into the infirmary did not particularly shout ‘success.’ Neither did the way he flung his pack and jacket in the general direction of his bed without bothering to actually enter his bedroom, then spun on his heel and went straight to the storage shelves, glowering at the jars and bottles as if daring one or more of them to make a hostile move. They didn’t, and he cursed, not quite under his breath. The old man flinched. “Merlin…” he started. “What happened?”
“Oh, you know,” said Merlin over his shoulder, with a sarcastic flip of a hand. “Same old, same old. Woke up, had breakfast, summoned a goddess; nothing worth mentioning.”
