He really must be over-tired if all he can manage to think about is comparing the bitlet to various organic lifeform studies from medical school. Still, B-127... it’s almost too perfect, with his paint job and identification code. “Can’t go around calling you by an ident-number, eh? ‘Bee’ should work well enough for now. How does that sound?”
The sparkling is halfway to recharge, but the finials on either side of his helm perk up. “B-Bee,” he echoes.

After the terrans were born Optimus was too focused on securing the continuation of the transformers species unintentionally ignoring Bumblebee due to missions and tiredness. He thought Bumblebee was independent enough to solve situations and defend himself. But he was wrong. Now Bumblebee was missing. Either killed or kidnapped. And optimus was too late to save him because he was too careless to answer Bumblebee’s calls thinking he would call back later. Leaving him all alone in danger and the inevitable happened. You never consider my feelings!” Bumblebee raged at his Prime. “It feels like I’m B-127 again, thrown in the garbage like a piece of trash!”
“You are not trash, Bumblebee,” Optimus reassured him but Bumblebee just laughed a bitter laugh.
“Sure doesn’t feel like it,” the scout spat.
“Bee–” Prime started.
“Now I get how D16 felt when you constantly dragged him into your stupid plans!” Bumblebee shouted.
"Bumblebee!" His Prime was angry now.

Bumblebee, once B-127, feels growing resentment in his spark as he considers his years in exile on Optimus Prime’s orders. It grows worse as Breakdown’s attention is taken by his and Knockout's new son. Bumblebee feels more and more abandoned struggling to find people to confide in.At the edge of the Solar System, a distress signal is heard from a Cybertronian Ship under attack from the Quintessons. Realising that Earth is now under threat, the Cybertronians must find a way to defend it as something lurks in the shadows waiting.

A couple months after being reverted to B-127 and back again, Bumblebee discovers that his processor has been copying memories into a separate file. Except it's not a glitch, it's B-127's subconscious fighting against its new state of being.
Spurned on by this knowledge, Bumblebee and the Maltos bring him back, ready to add B-127 to their flock. Unfortunately, they have a long way to go until they're one big happy family.

After the abysmal failure of their last camping trip, Bumblebee is determined to try again. The results are… marginally better this time.
