    Shen Yuan transmigrates into the body of the Peak Lord of the Beast Handling Peak.

    With this comes some challenges: the scum villain and his white lotus disciple won't leave him alone, the System rejoices at any opportunity to bully him, and Shen Yuan needs to conquer his fear of animals.

    Also, if he could quit breaking things on accident and keep his new (terrifying) disciples in line, he would appreciate that very much.

    Six years ago, Shen Qingqiu escaped his plot-ordained death by secretly cultivating a new body. His rebirth came at a cost, however: the loss of his memories.

    Now, Shen Yuan claws his way out of the dirt with no idea where he is, who he is supposed to be, or why his System is malfunctioning. As they set out to explore the world together, Shen Yuan finds himself becoming increasingly fond of this sweet, loyal young man. But although he recognizes the setting of Proud Immortal Demon Way, he soon realizes that this story is different: something, or someone, has substantially altered the plot.

    To uncover the truth, Shen Yuan will have to restore his missing memories… while also protecting Bai Wentian from this world's chief danger: the protagonist himself, Luo Binghe.

    The only thing standing in Shen Jiu's way to becoming a peak lord is a stupid bonded beast. After countless failed attempts, his luck seems to take a turn for the better as he meets a nearly extinct species of beast and manages to bond with it.

    It's only... The beast doesn't appear as mindless as expected, and Shen Qingqiu quickly finds himself growing fond of it regardless of the circumstances of their bonding nor his previous attitude towards beasts. Still, no matter how close they grow, he can't shake the feeling of his unlikely companion keeping some secret from him.

    When Shen Yuan dies, cursing the disappointing ending of Proud Immortal Demon Way, he wakes up to find himself inside the story, as a demon NPC. Which is pretty cool, as far as transmigration experiences go! The only problem is that his character is trapped in the form of a dragon-like beast, alone in a half-ruined castle. But he adapts, keeping to himself aside from one quick trip to the human realm that triggers a minor plot deviation with major consequences.

    After that experience, Shen Yuan retreats into solitude again… until the Immortal Alliance Conference, where he decides to intervene more intentionally in Luo Binghe's fate. After taking the young protagonist under his wing, however, he’s surprised to learn just how much the story has already diverged from its origins.

    And he and Luo Binghe are both surprised when the Bai Zhan War God, Liu Qingge, tracks them down—determined to ‘rescue’ the disciple who once saved his life.

    For a long moment, Shen Yuan stares into empty space almost sightlessly, trying to understand what the hell is going on.
    Then, the boy finally sits up shakily. His eyes are as dark as pitch black, with a firm gaze that's too hard for a boy his age. His hair is a thick, dark, and dense tangle, escaping from his high ponytail in unruly strands. Despite how wild his hair makes him look, there's a delicate beauty mark under his eye.
    In the center of his forehead, Shen Yuan stares in stupefied horror at a red zuiyin that he knows very well.

    A half-Heavenly Demon child emerges from a dark portal in the middle of Shen Yuan's apartment. Fine, Shen Yuan can handle it. He'll just have to take care of little Luo Chengle, one of Luo Binghe's sons, until his father comes to pick him up. Luo Binghe couldn't possibly take too long to search for his own son, right?
    ...Right?
