Perhaps it was the constant proximity to this peculiar fae, or perhaps the Abyssal shards had dulled his restraint, but the offer seemed almost harmless, a little game without consequence.
“A grave sin indeed,” the fae replied with a quiet laugh, his composure unbroken. “Guidance and malevolence often walk side by side.”

Summary
After Durin was transported inside a book, he realized that it was not about his own tale, but a retelling of a narrative he had never heard before:
The tale of the hero of Simulanka,
The story of his important friend.
It was through witnessing the three acts of Hat Guy's life and talking with the main characters of each chapter did he realize that perhaps a dragon and a puppet are not so different after all.

Summary
Durin has learnt a lot about "courting" and "romance" from observing humans. He still doesn't really understand much, but according to his observations, he definitely thinks there's something "going on" between Albedo and Wanderer. Durin decides it's up to him to do something about it, and begins his great undertaking of a certain task he's heard of: the art of "match making".
Albedo was speechless for a moment before finally speaking up. “Durin,” he asked nicely, “just how many people did you ask about this?”
Wanderer watched with apprehension as Durin mentally counted on his fingers, distinctly feeling the physical sensation of a rock dropping into his stomach, as Durin’s two hands ran out of fingers and he had to start fresh on his left hand once again.
“You know what? Don’t answer that. Don’t answer that question.” Wanderer snapped.

“And get this.” Tighnari leans forward conspiratorially. “Durin apparently wanted Hat Guy to show him around the Akademiya. He initially said no, but then Durin pouted and he agreed.”
Kaveh’s jaw drops, gasping with all the dramatics that this situation requires. Alhaitham’s eyebrows even raise slightly, almost like he’s impressed. “What?” Kaveh whispers. “This is the same guy who once told a toddler sobbing in the street to get a hold of himself, yes?”
“Precisely.” Really, Tighnari doesn’t consider himself one prone to gossip. He’s more so… intrigued. Have they known each other for a long time? If so, why haven’t they ever heard of or seen him until now? And how would they know each other?
There's a new dragon in town, and he somehow has the ability to befriend Hat Guy of all people. Tighnari, Cyno, Alhaitham, and Kaveh (who have all known Hat Guy for much longer, thank you) are determined to solve the mystery.
