Will didn’t know why he was suddenly standing in Mike's mind, watching a scene play out. He didn’t know, from where he stood, where Mike's mind ended and where the space he occupied began.
It was like he was watching a movie screen, except there was no light reflection, it was a great black expanse, but it was also the field they had just been standing in.
It was Will walking up the hill to find Mike, and Mike having no idea that it wasn’t real.
