This is super fucking funny, the voices of the characters are so fluid and so accurate. I love it, I adore these little freaks, this is going to keeps me entertained so so long.
I'm sobbing on the floor, I'm weeping in the arms of a merciless mother who wishes for nothing but my misery.
This fic low key makes me hate Dazai, like Chuuya is out here breaking his body for this home which has given him respect and belonging, God I hateMori a little more too, the continuous breakdown of all of Chuuya's meaningful communities and relationships needs to be put to a stop. Every single person Chuuya connects with inside the port aside from kouyou is either killed or by the actions and plans of Dazai himself have their opinion of him completely burned to ash. Be it a bloodied wedding or war prolonged. I have had at least 2 sob sessions over my child and his demon of a partner.
Throughout the story we see that Dazai has the capacity for emotional intelligence but he will diligently ignore it, he's afraid of that sincerity, he's allowed to watch Chuuya and indulges in it without fear for consequences because Chuuya doesn't really share that social etiquette. But through the text you get glimpses of Dazai's want and glimpses of his vulnerability, he just digs it under his boot until nobody can recognize it. I don't think he knows how much his dehumanization is done by his own hands by the guidance of Mori Agai.
OH CHUUYA MY LOVE AND DARLING CHUUYA, he is repeatedly used, be it as a weapon or as a tool of comfort by Dazai, as the story goes on you get povs from Chuuya who is very much aware of his role as a weapon and his thirst for violence which he tries so Very hard to bury deep inside himself, but during the Arihabaki training arc you realize just how much he hungers for it, just how much Arihabaki is a manifestation of Chuuya's desires. Because Chuuya hates himself, he hates what he is and who he is becoming and he will continue to hate himself. Because after the events of this story you see Chuuya stop reaching for relationships within his organization and stop reaching for human connection, because those are the things Chuuya has learned to value his existence from. And if it was Mori or Dazai's plan IDGAF BECAUSE WHOEVER PLANNED IT NEEDS TO BURN IN HELL

Summary
Mori Ougai had worked hard to earn his position as head of the Port Mafia, and he ruled with absolute authority. And, like any other who wielded absolute power, he was not someone to take an affront lightly. He was even less inclined to forgive and forget when the affront was committed by a spandex-clad man who claimed to fight for peace above all else. So, when he found himself dangling by the collar at the hands of Japan’s Number One Idiot during what should have been a routine meeting, he couldn’t help but laugh.
Finally. Something he could work with.

Chuuya had done a lot of batshit crazy things in his life–he’d taken out entire rival gangs with just Dazai at his side, he’d been betrayed by the people closest to him, and he’d even risen to be one of the most influential members of the Port Mafia before he even turned 16. But nothing could have prepared him for his next mission. A pro-hero? UA student? Him? And that bandaged freak was going to? What has the world come to?

You do not understand how much I love BNHA AUs, I actually couldn't give a rats ass about the actual manga/anime but the AUs? Holy hell! Literally some of my favorite things ever.
This one is getting interesting, especially the political intrigue, thats my shit!
So I'll have to do a reread and give it a better score later, cause I was only ever delirious on this first read and I need to give it more of a watchful eye cause thats what it deserves10/10
