Summary
OakClan moved from the forest to the mountains after a fire consumed their territory and killed a large portion of the clan, leaving them without a leader or a deputy, with only a few warriors and a medicine cat. They escape to the mountain and begin to reestablish themselves in a new land, setting up in a cave.
After a vision from StarClan and a visit to the Moonstone, Graystar is named leader, and the clan begins life anew, renaming themselves SparkClan in an effort to remember the fire that nearly destroyed them.

“I mean, sure,” Kai pressed on, hoping his voice sounded more reassuring to Jay than it did to him, “your parents can be a little eccentric sometimes, but your mom is totally not crazy.”
“Not my mom.” Jay’s whisper was barely audible, his eyes still wide as his chest shuddered. “My birth mom…”
Kai blinked as his entire world took a sudden, sharp shift on its axis. “Your… what? Jay, what are you talking about? Come on, this isn’t funny.”
“Yeah, no kidding, and I’m not laughing…” Jay squeezed his eyes shut, clutching at his chest. “He… He told me that she was dead… Why would he do that…?”
A startling revelation about Jay's parents shakes Kai's world up in more ways than one, setting him on a journey of healing toward his own parents. By helping Jay, Kai unintentionally gets the help he's been avoiding since the Hands of Time.

Tim tried to believe, if only for a little while. In kindergarten, his class had written letters to the big man...Tim's was only one sentence long.
"I want mommy and daddy home for Christmas."
They'd been in Egypt through New Year's.
He wrote again in first grade.
"Please let mom and dad be home for Christmas."
And in second.
"Please, if you are real at all, can you bring my parents home for Christmas?"
He hadn't really truly believed in the mythological man, but boy had he wanted to. Boy had he tried.

When at a Wayne Enterprises Christmas Gala, Tim meets "Santa". Reluctantly, Tim asks him for what he's always wanted for the holidays - to be with his family. He just might get his wish, even if it's not exactly in the way he would have ever imagined.
