“So, what about you then?” he asks.
Will tilts his head.
“What about me?”
“What, um, creature would you want to encounter, hm?”
Will looks ethereal from Mike’s angle, he wants WIll to be above him forever. Will’s eyes take on a shine that twinkles down at Mike.
“Vampires.”
Mike’s mouth feels like a desert. Holy fuck.
Mike swallows thickly (Will watches) and looks at him with wide eyes. Will’s attention lies on the lipstick tube that he’s now rolling up, he glances up once. Mike manages to get one word out “...really?” Will smiles and shakes his head.
“Oh yeah– I would totally let a pretty one bite me.”

“But there’s something you didn't tell me,” Will says, stopping and staring at Dustin, as he sinks back into his pillow. “Something kind of crucial.” He leans forward slightly, lowering his voice even more, turning the words into a furious whisper.
“You didn’t care to tell me that he’s a… vampire.”

He does, however, become deeply invested in hating Will’s very annoying, stupid, dumb boyfriend Richie, who also happens to be his cousin and the worst thing to ever happen to Hawkins.
Eddie Kaspbrak would like it on record that he is also not jealous—Richie just stopped paying attention to him, and that’s weird.
Two accidental relationships, zero self-awareness, and a lot of jealousy later, everyone figures it out. Eventually.

Will thinks Mike’s afraid of him, of his newfound powers, and thinks about hiding who he is.
Mike’s being hunted by the monster who kidnapped Will and put Max into a coma, trying to protect his loved ones from the ugly truth of his feelings.They’re both convinced the other wouldn’t, and doesn’t, like who they are, not if the other knew the truth.
One argument between them had managed to tear open not one gate, but four of them. Leading to an otherworldly outcome; meeting four other versions of themselves, whom were all deeply in love with each other.
