Spock drapes himself over the chaise with a sort of self-assurance that Jim would kill and die to see his own Spock embody. He looks Jim up and down a couple times, still unblinking, eyes reflecting slightly yellow in the dimness, and he says, “I have never known my captain to show visible discomfort. You are a fascinating example of what it might look like to frighten him.”

A setback this adverse. This disastrous. Almost catastrophic, even, considering how much Twilight shoulders on the daily for peace between two nations. That sharp smile somehow grows wider.
“I believe the term is ‘fashionably late’ baby,” a smooth voice with a light Spanish accent replies.
Which… okay if Vox is being honest, is kind of hot.
Screen heating up a little more, Vox shoots a bored look.
“Or just late,” he snips back. “Oh well,” he claps his hands. “Doesn’t matter, you ready to get down to business?”
“Oh baby,” a bright gleam in endless red eyes, “I’m always ready to get down.”
Vox is already regretting this decision.
