In this story, an older slime finds Rimuru as he is being born, and follows him through his journey. However, it does not have a human mind like Rimuru, leading to some changes on how the story will later progress. Rimuru is very "family" centric, but there will come a point he needs to find out, who is actually who's family.

    This man also needs someone to eventually humble him.
