Summary

When Izuku finds himself stranded at night in magickal woods, he seeks asylum at a nearby castle. Yuuei is home to several vampires, including Toshinori Yagi, who is afflicted by a deep magickal wound. Izuku offers his healing services as a witch in return for the vampire's hospitality. But not all of the vampires are happy with Izuku's presence, and as a familiar danger builds on the horizon, Izuku has to learn how to trust in his magick not only to heal Yagi, but to save the very vampires he's wary of.

She scanned the rest of the party. Most of the parents knew each other, especially in some of the families who were pro-heroes or had multiple students here at UA. But Inko wasn’t anybody. She was an elementary school teacher in a smaller suburb with a weak quirk and a penchant for being a homebody. She sighed, resigned to people watching, and stared at the clock, wondering when it was late enough she could leave.
A few of the teachers, gathered in a group beside her, were breaking up. She shrunk against the wall, continuing to feel out of place. Toshinori was one of them, and as he bid goodbye to Aizawa, he turned toward her, eyes widening with recognition. He smiled, and she tried to reflect a smile back, unsure if it came through.
“Ms. Midoriya, it’s good to see you!”
“Hi!” Inko said, unsure whether to put out a hand or go for a hug. Toshinori decided for them, scooping her against him in a polite hug. He was so tall, it almost felt like being swallowed by a cotton shirt, albeit warm and rather inviting, before he released her.

Shouta turns away from the mirror where he’s tightening his bowtie, and sees Nemuri in her burgundy bridesmaid dress. Her hair has been twisted up and pinned, pearls dotted throughout. She looks as if dragged from the wine-dark sea.
She reaches toward him, untying his bowtie and redoing it so it’s straight. Shouta breathes out shakily.
“Only a little,” he says.
Her smile is a sly thing, sharp in the corners, mocking where her words will not. “Well, don’t be, you two have been waiting long enough for this.”
Or... Shouta and Hizashi tie the knot.

Ever since he was a kid, he had a tendency to do things too fast, pushing himself to the point of exhaustion without realising it, and what with being such a skinny, scrawny little thing who never really ate enough, his body had never really learnt to cope.

He’d been scared the first few times, confused why he suddenly felt so dizzy and nauseous all the time, why sometimes when he’d stand up too quickly or run too fast in gym lessons the room would suddenly be swaying uncertainly, vision greying out before he’d wake up on the floor.

But he’d gotten used to it.
