He falls out of sight, and she braces for—something. God, anything really. Grief, regret, guilt and whatever else. She should be feeling those things, right? After all, she just murdered the guy. She looked right into the mech's cockpit (heh, cock) and made one-sided contact with brown eyes (god, they were so big and brown and angry) and planted the bomb anyway, all so that she wouldn't have to spend half of her life paying Shroud back for a working set of lungs.
But nothing comes. No grief. No regret. No guilt.
So she shrugs, and takes a smooth drag of her cigarette—and throws her head back because fuck, being able to smoke like she's fifteen again fucking rocks. Might just be worth the blood on her hands.

Summary
In which we explore some of the off-screen time between game scenes. Team bonding, dispatching, character studies, and various donuts eaten while on the job. Focus is mostly platonic and team-dynamics because I really really want more screen time with the other members of Z-Team... but I am also an action and angst writer, so buckle up. Not ACTUALLY writing a non-romantic Robert so much as Robert who is too fucking exhausted to do anything about, like, dating in Season 1? Something like that. The one-sided crushes go fucking HARD tho.

Visi, on the other hand, is struggling with whether she's still the villain or the hero her dispatcher has been trying to mold her into. Only one thing is for certain, and maybe this tired, stressed the hell out, former legend of Los Angeles was the answer.
An Invisimech post-canon (somewhat) slow burn. Takes place after the No Romance ending, but oh boy there'll be fluff along the way.
