“Merlin! Don't close your eyes, damnit!” Arthur shook him and very nearly overbalanced and sent them both tumbling back down the hillside. He had Merlin halfway draped over his shoulders, one hand securely around his waist and the other holding his wrist to keep him from sliding. They should have caught up with the rest of the patrol yesterday, but then there had been the boar.

An attack forces Merlin to reveal his magic, but when he's injured in the process and a storm strands them alone, Arthur has to act quickly, or risk losing Merlin forever.

Summary
A hand grasped his arm, sending a brief thrill down Merlin's nerves as he was forced around to face the person behind him. Armour gleamed in the firelight: supple chainmail glinted, and the solid iron of a pauldron curved lovingly over one broad shoulder. The length of a sword blade separated them. The point hovered, steady and sure, over Merlin's heart, braced to run him through, but he did not care about any of that. He was too busy drinking in the sight of the man before him.
He could never forget him, no matter how many centuries had passed.
'Arthur?'
When Merlin ultimately fails in his destiny, the fading remnants of magic that linger in the modern world fling him not just back in time, but sideways as well. He ends up in a Camelot where all his friends are alive, well and aware of his magic.

Summary
The media has always been wary of Harry Osborn. He grew up as modern royalty, rich and famous and son to a greedy billionaire tech mogul, which didn't paint the most sympathetic picture. He's too posh, too surly, too serious.
And then there is Peter. The orphan kid from Brooklyn Tony Stark adopted as his heir, the charming, upbeat young man with a tragic backstory, with the kind of rags-to-riches story the media fell in love with. He’s a genius, but he’s humble, and he’s handsome, but not in the waifish-Victorian-orphan way that Harry has going for him, but in a classic, American, boy-next-door way.
With a dichotomy like that, with Norman and Tony Stark’s famous feuds back in the nineties, and with Stark Industries and Oscorp being the top tech innovators in the game, it’s only natural that Harry Osborn and Peter Stark be rivals. It's a good story. Harry can't even blame the tabloids. Peter makes sense as the hero, and if that makes Harry the villain, then so be it.

Summary

When the moon dies and the ocean spirit takes its revenge, Sokka is caught standing on the deck of a Fire Nation ship. Sokka should have drowned… and he would have drowned, if not for a certain Fire Nation raft fleeing the North Pole.
